Job summary

Michael Page Australia seeks a Lead or Principal Engineer to own Sydney Water Major Projects and Development capability, driving growth and strategy in a high-profile role.

You will lead and grow an established team, build strong relationships with developers, councils and contractors, identify and win new work, and provide technical leadership across major development and infrastructure projects. A senior role with autonomy and market visibility.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Sydney Water and/or development-related projects.
• Strong relationships across developers, councils, contractors and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and win new work.
• Commercial acumen and client management expertise.
• Proven leadership and team development capability.
• A passion for growing people, projects and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and growing a well-established Sydney Water and WSC capable engineering team.
• Developing and strengthening relationships with developers, councils, contractors and key industry stakeholders.
• Identifying, securing and delivering new business opportunities.
• Providing technical leadership across major development and infrastructure projects.
• Mentoring and developing a capable team of engineers and designers.
• Contributing to strategic business decisions and future growth initiatives.
• Representing the business within the broader Sydney Water market.
