Job summary

Marsh is seeking a senior-level energy and power broker to join the Perth-based team. The role supports clients across the energy and power sector with tailored broking and client service solutions in a hybrid setup (office at least three days per week).

You will manage complex accounts, strengthen long-term client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand Marsh’s offerings. Collaboration with global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in insurance broking, preferably within energy, power, or a related specialty line.
• Active insurance broker’s licence.
• Effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Principal Energy and Power

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy and Power team at Marsh. This role will be based in Perth. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Working within a senior specialist team, you will support clients across the energy and power sector with tailored broking and client service solutions. In this principal-level role, you will help manage complex accounts, strengthen long-term client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand Marsh’s offering. You will also work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver outcomes for clients and support the growth of the portfolio.

We will count on you to:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of complex energy and power accounts, building on established client relationships
• Lead renewal and placement activities in collaboration with colleagues across the business and global placement teams, in line with client instructions
• Support client presentations and contribute to new business opportunities with practical and commercial solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand account value through Marsh’s broader service offerings, market insight, and client needs
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, representing Marsh at industry events, conferences, and client functions

What you need to have:

• Demonstrated experience in insurance broking, preferably within energy, power, or a related specialty line
