Job summary

Embedded Expertise in Adelaide is seeking an experienced engineering leader to take ownership of a growing design team focused on electrical, automation and control systems for critical infrastructure projects.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape project delivery, manage client relationships and define technical direction across the project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence within a busy pipelines. Australian citizenship and SA registration eligibility are required.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of electrical design engineers

Driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and technical excellence

Managing the delivery of engineering designs to agreed scope, budget and schedule

Working closely with clients and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements

Supporting the successful delivery of complex electrical, automation and control systems projects

Providing technical leadership and guidance across the project lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams

Strong background in electrical design engineering at a senior or principal level

Experience delivering projects within sectors such as energy, utilities, transport, manufacturing, resources or industrial automation

Excellent stakeholder engagement and client management skills

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering

Eligibility for engineering registration in South Australia

Australian Citizenship is required
