Qualifications

• Strong ML/AI and statistics foundation, with experience evaluating models.
• Degree in Statistics, Data Science, CS or Actuarial Science, or equivalent.
• GenAI and agentic systems expertise with practical tooling.
• Proficient in Python, R, TypeScript and AI coding tools.
• Independent judgement with leadership to guide data scientists.
• Excellent communication to present to governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent review, challenge and validation of ML, statistical and AI models across the Group, including GenAI and agentic systems.
• Assess fit-for-purpose and risk controls of models and orchestrators, sub-agents and pipelines.
• Shape validation standards, tooling, and best practices across data science teams.
