Job summary

West Moreton Health in Ipswich invites a Principal Cyber Security Specialist– Major Capital (Digital) to lead security efforts for the Ipswich Hospital Expansion Program Stage 2. You will identify technical vulnerabilities across ICT environments, plan mitigations, and implement controls in collaboration with the Manager Information Security and Major Capital Project Director.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to mitigate cybersecurity risks in the healthcare sector. Working with the Manager Information Security and the Major Capital Project Director, the Principal Cyber Security Specialist– Major Capital (Digital) will identify technical vulnerabilities, plan treatments to mitigate risks and then implement the mitigations. The role requires knowledge across a variety of ICT environments and will monitor the technical controls as well as leading the technical incident management response, as applicable for the Ipswich Hospital Expansion Program Stage 2 (IHES2)

• Participate in a 24/7 On Call Roster (including over weekends and public holidays).
