Job summary

Quality People on the Gold Coast is seeking a Principal Communications Advisor for a 12-month contract to support a major regional infrastructure program. You will lead stakeholder engagement, manage complex issues, and provide strategic communications guidance to help deliver critical transport projects.

The role requires exceptional written and verbal communication, experience in public sector or large-scale projects, and the ability to liaise with government agencies and NGOs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and issues management within large-scale infrastructure or public sector projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on executive-level reporting.
• Develop and implement high-level stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Manage community and stakeholder risks, issues, and media trends.
• Liaise with diverse groups, including non-government organisations, industry, and government agencies.
• Relevant qualifications in journalism, communications, or engagement, and IAP2 or equivalent training is highly desirable.
• Government experience would be highly advantageous.
