Zusammenfassung

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Principal COBOL Developer to join a major Federal Government program delivering critical services to Australians. You will provide technical leadership across mainframe initiatives, drive the design, development and maintenance of enterprise-scale applications within a large ICT environment.

The role offers an initial 12-month contract with extension options and a rewarding hourly rate.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum extensive COBOL/mainframe delivery experience.
• Proven ability to lead development teams and establish standards.
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership across large projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of complex COBOL-based mainframe applications.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and expert guidance to development teams.
• Drive software planning, analysis, testing, deployment, maintenance and production support activities.
• Support solution design, technical assessments and continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise systems.
• Ensure software solutions meet business requirements, security standards and quality expectations.
