Egis on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead civil projects and drive growth in South East Queensland. You will provide technical leadership across feasibility, design and construction, while guiding large multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients to shape delivery strategies.

The role targets a Chartered Engineer with seniority and a strong local-market network, offering flexibility around full-time, part-time or job-share arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• Ideally, you will have 12+ years’ experience in a similar role within engineering consultancy with a strong connection to the local market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• CPEng status (Ability to obtain mandatory if not already Charted).
• RPEQ or willingness to obtain.
• Strong technical expertise in land development, water, transport and civil infrastructure engineering.
• Proven project management skills across the full life cycle of projects.
• Proven people leadership abilities with the confidence to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong client management capability.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical expertise through all lifecycle stages from feasibility to construction.
• Lead client engagements, bids, tender management and business development in SEQ.
• Finance and budget management, variations, reporting and resourcing.
• Produce high-quality proposal documentation and technical deliverables.
• Act as technical lead to project teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure compliance with standards.
