Job summary

Metro South Health seeks a data engineering and BI professional to lead the design, development and optimisation of enterprise data platforms across the health service. You will collaborate with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to turn complex data into trusted intelligence and scalable solutions.

You will mentor BI developers, guide reporting pipelines and embrace Azure, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric to deliver meaningful insights across hospitals and community facilities.

Qualifications

• Bring strong SQL, data engineering and ETL expertise across modern data environments.
• Have experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and/or AWS.
• Enjoy designing scalable data solutions, pipelines and reporting that make complex information easier to understand and use.
• Build trusted partnerships with clinical, operational and executive teams to understand their needs and deliver meaningful solutions.
• Share your knowledge by mentoring others, championing best practice and embracing new technologies and ways of working.

Responsibilities
