Job summary

Seitec in Australia is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to develop, scale and deploy AI/ML capabilities within seismic sensing systems. You will own modeling from definition to deployment on edge hardware, working with CTO and other principals.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and ensure AI/ML solutions are reliable, maintainable and producible in resource-constrained environments, with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in applied AI/ML, software engineering or related technical roles, with a track record of delivering complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of Seitec's applied AI/ML capabilities, from problem definition and model architecture through to validation, optimisation and deployment into production and resource-constrained edge systems.
