Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Principal Account Executive for National Security within the Worldwide Public Sector. You will own the commercial relationship for key national security accounts and drive cloud adoption strategies and multi-year deals in Australia.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architecture and cross-government stakeholders, manage complex procurement, and represent AWS in industry forums, shaping cloud-enabled mission capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent.
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder government or large enterprise sales cycles.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Australian Government Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with government or large enterprise customers
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
• MBA, or Advanced degree
• Experience working with national security, defence, or intelligence community customers
• Knowledge of government procurement frameworks such as WoAG, panels, and standing offers
• Experience as a practice leader or business unit owner in a technology company
