Job summary

Xavier College invites applications from passionate and dedicated Primary Years Teaching and Learning Coordinator to join our Two Wells (R–12) Campus. This fixed-term role (commencing January 2027) includes a full-time teaching component and will drive literacy and numeracy initiatives, support curriculum and assessment practices, and build staff capability across Years 3–6.

Working with leaders and teachers, the Coordinator will lead data-informed teaching, mentor staff, and promote wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning practices across Years 3-6
• Coordinate and support the implementation of literacy, numeracy, curriculum and assessment initiatives
• Support the delivery of key assessment and reporting processes, including PAT, NAPLAN and other College assessment initiatives
• Analyse and utilise student achievement data to inform teaching, learning and intervention strategies
• Mentor and support teachers through collaboration, coaching and professional learning opportunities
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Support student wellbeing, inclusive education and targeted intervention programs
• Effectively manage multiple priorities, initiatives and operational requirements within a dynamic school environment
