Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a Primary Teacher (Student Engagement) for a fixed-term, full-time position in Townsville, QLD. The role commences 18 January 2027 and concludes 3 December 2027, with a salary range of $86,600–$124,725 plus super.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team, teach with contemporary practices, and collaborate with families to deliver inclusive, engaging learning experiences for every child.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications to teach in Queensland.
• Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or eligibility).
• Full-time commitment to a fixed-term contract for the school year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons for primary students and promote student engagement.
• Use diverse assessments to monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.
