Job summary

Timor Primary School,Timor VIC, part of the Department of Education Victoria, is seeking a classroom teacher to lead learning across F–6 with emphasis on core literacy and numeracy. Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2 Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• SC3 Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• SC4 Strong interpersonal and communication skills and collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• SC5 Reflective practice and commitment to professional learning and department values.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties and organizational tasks as required.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support school policies and participate in school improvement initiatives.
