Australian Christian College Singleton invites a passionate Primary Physical Education Teacher to join our P-12 community. The role may be part-time or full-time, commencing Term 1 2027, and covers Kindergarten to Year 6 with a focus on active, inclusive learning.

You will deliver engaging PE lessons that promote fitness, teamwork and sport, align with the NSW PDHPE syllabus, and participate in a supportive school culture within ACC Singleton’s Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Our PDHPE knowledge supports teaching across Kindergarten to Year 6.
• Ability to plan differentiated PE experiences for diverse learners.
• Understand and apply NSW PDHPE curriculum in engaging lessons.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Primary Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Australian Christian College - Singleton.

This position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the availability and suitability of the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons that develop students’ physical skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical activity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about promoting healthy, active lifestyles and creating a positive learning environment where students of all abilities can participate, develop and thrive.

This role commences Term 1 2027.

Requirements

• Have appropriate qualifications and experience teaching Primary Physical Education, with the ability to teach across Kindergarten to Year 6 highly regarded.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of physical education, fundamental movement skills, sport and physical activity, with the ability to engage students of varying ages and abilities.
• Have a sound understanding of the relevant NSW PDHPE curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated learning experiences.
• Be able to foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation, teamwork, sportsmanship and physical wellbeing.
• Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
• Be supportive of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
• Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
• Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
