Medowie Christian School is seeking a full-time Primary Learning Support Assistant to join our Christ-centred team. The role supports students in classrooms and playgrounds, working with academic staff to enhance learning and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a Christian faith, strong communication, organisational skills, and a collaborative spirit to help students engage with curriculum and grow in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of data collection and reporting.
• You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.

Responsibilities

• Live out your faith in a Christian school community, with an attitude of support, care and excellence.
• Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of students.
• Support small groups of students throughout a range of Primary classrooms.
• Facilitate breakout groups where required to enhance student learning.
• Record student support delivered using the school based systems and structures.
• Support students to integrate and connect in the classroom and playground.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism, flexibility and collaboration with colleagues.
