Job summary
Castle Insurance is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join its specialist Pricing team in Australia. The role focuses on ensuring pricing models are accurate, competitive and aligned with portfolio growth and profitability objectives.
You will work with the Head of Pricing and cross‑functional partners to support pricing decisions and tool development. This role blends technical modelling with business impact, offering a hybrid work setup with Brisbane-based HQ Capalaba or remote options.
Qualifications
- Background in insurance analytics or related technical field.
- Experience with general insurance pricing or analytics.
- Strong quantitative and modelling skills.
- Ability to communicate insights to stakeholders clearly.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SQL and statistical software.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pricing reviews and portfolio optimisation.
- Conduct statistical modelling and performance analysis.
- Report pricing impacts, market trends and forecast variances.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and data structures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and smarter segmentation.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders across the business.
