Job summary

SCOR Australia is seeking a Pricing Actuary to support the ANZ Retail, Group and FinSol reinsurance propositions. You will deliver high-quality pricing work, support portfolio reviews and prepare pricing reports for the Head of Pricing.

The role involves close collaboration with Underwriting, Claims and other teams to deliver insights and maintain pricing models in line with SCOR Global Life Australia policies.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with a minimum of 5 years in insurance/reinsurance pricing.
• Pricing experience in group or individual pricing for insurer or reinsurer.
• Experience in pricing analyses, setting assumptions, profitability analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and actuarial software (Prophet) and Python.

Responsibilities

• Price reinsurance business for SCOR Australia and New Zealand treaties (Retail, Group, FinSol).
• Support portfolio performance reviews and deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare pricing reports for the Head of Pricing to review.
• Assist in delivering client requirements for SCOR Global Life Australia with analysis and solutions.
• Ensure pricing basis complies with SCOR Global Life guidelines and local pricing policy.
• Support maintenance and enhancement of pricing models.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by Head of Pricing.
