MDA Filtration Inc., a division of John Brooks Company Limited, is seeking an experienced welder to join our shop team. You will perform TIG and MIG welding on pressure vessels, read blueprints, and ensure all welds pass RT inspection. The role requires safety focus and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work is in a fabrication shop environment with Monday-Thursday and Friday shifts. Competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of pressure vessel welding experience.

• Able to read blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsabilidades

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute high-quality pressure welding using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes, ensuring consistent precision and craftsmanship, with all welds subject to RT (radiographic) inspection.
• Read and interpret drawings as per specifications, shop instructions
• Safely position, fit, and assemble a range of substrates, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon-to-Stainless, and Aluminum, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
• Performhydrotesting procedures as applicable
• As required, transport and/or position material and equipment to and from work area manually by hooking for overhead crane or by using floor operated overhead crane or forklift

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven commitment to workplace safety
• Knowledge of TSSA and/or ASME standards
• Minimum 2 years of pressure vessel welding experience; required
• Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Successful completion of MDA welder testing to obtain tickets per MDA procedures is required
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading weld symbols

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Shop (fabrication) environment
• Exposure to deadlines, multiple demands and priorities, multi-tasking, and interruptions

SHIFT

• Monday to Thursday – 7:00am to 4:30pm
• Friday – 7:00am to 11:00am
