Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia are seeking experienced Pressure Welders & Coded Welders for an upcoming shutdown at Kogan Creek Power Station, Queensland. Join an immediate-start, 6:1 roster project with 4-6+ weeks of work, accommodation/LAHA options, and potential for ongoing shutdown opportunities.

Welders must have Boilermaker/Welder trade qualification, strong 6G and mirror welding experience, and the ability to pass required weld tests and site screenings.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Boilermaker/Welder.
• Strong pressure welding experience.
• Proven 6G welding capability.
• Recent experience with mirror welding.
• Previous boiler/power station experience highly regarded.
• Ability to pass a project-specific weld test.
• Current relevant tickets, qualifications and site competencies.
• Ability to pass the required medical, drug & alcohol screening and site inductions.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Weld components during the Kogan Creek Power Station shutdown.
• Operate in a high-pressure, safety-focused environment.
• Complete required weld tests and maintain quality workmanship.
