The role involves setting and running the press brake, folding panels, and performing various sheetmetal tasks in a collaborative workshop.

You will be expected to work flexibly, move between sections as demand requires, and contribute to a team-focused environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a press brake or hands-on sheetmetal fabrication background.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a sheetmetal shop or fabrication environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and run the press brake and fold panels as required.
• Perform general fabrication and other sheetmetal duties as directed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workshop and contribute to a team environment.
• Report to the Team Leader and adapt to varying daily tasks.

Great opportunity to join a successful Sheetmetal business in the Caringbah area. This well-established company has a strong stable history in Sheetmetal and Printing panels are looking for a Brake Press Operator or a Fabrication / Sheetmetal worker to join their team.

In this position you will be involved various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Be responsible for Set / Run the press brake, folding panels, general fabrication and other sheetmetal duties. Keeping the workshop clean and tidy, and working in a team setting.
