Job summary

The NSW Department of Education invites applications for the Teacher Pre-School role at Birraleegal Goondi Preschool, part of Walgett Connected Community Primary School. The position supports the SWAY program to develop early speech, phonemic awareness and play-based learning within the Early Years Learning Framework.

Expectations include ACECQA approved teaching qualifications, safeguarding all children, and strong collaboration with families and external agencies to promote Aboriginal student

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved preschool teaching qualification with ability to implement NQF.
• Commitment to safeguarding the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children.
• Ability to plan and run a preschool program based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and external agencies to design transitions.
