Job summary

The NSW Department of Education is hiring School Learning Support Officers for Nirimba Fields Public School's new preschool. These roles support students with diverse learning needs in preschool settings under teacher supervision.

Three full-time, ongoing positions available, starting day 1, Term 4, 12 October 2026. Applicants must be working towards or hold Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care and pass Working with Children Check, with training provided

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completion of mandatory training and WWCC clearance.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Support students with identified learning needs in classrooms and other settings.
• Assist with student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Work under teacher direction to support educational outcomes.
