Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist (Level 3) to lead the Brighter Beginnings Preschool Team within the CYF Community Health Service. The role focuses on developmental surveillance, screening, and timely referrals for preschool children across NSW Health and Education collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology enabling membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Extensive clinical experience as a minimum Level 2 Speech Pathologist with complex paediatric needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership in developmental surveillance screening for preschool children.
• Lead across pre-screening, screening and post-screening phases with emphasis on post-screening decisions.
• Review findings, classify outcomes and coordinate referral pathways.
• Mentor junior clinicians and contribute to protocols and quality improvement.
