Job summary

Mile End Bagels in Melbourne (on-site kitchen) is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support breakfast and lunch service and be a valued member of the kitchen crew. You will help with meal preparation, dishwashing, and keeping the prep and dining areas tidy.

Daily tasks include restocking PREP-FOOD, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, assisting with housekeeping duties as required, and ensuring everything is clean and ready for service.

Job description

As a Kitchen Hand, you will be a valued kitchen crew member. You will be required to prepare a weekly selection of delicious meals, in our on-site kitchen for breakfast and lunch.
An average day may include any or all of the following tasks:

• Preparation of daily meals
• Staying on top of dishes, tidy the kitchen and dining areas
• Restocking of PREP-FOOD
• Help out with any housekeeping duties that are required
• Washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are cleaned at the end of each day
