Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Ringwood VIC is seeking experienced Welders for ongoing opportunities at a manufacturing facility in the Eastern Suburbs. These hands-on roles involve fabricating high-quality vehicle accessory components in line with engineering drawings and SOPs.

Qualified candidates will work within a skilled production team, with no formal qualifications required but experience highly regarded. Attractive hourly pay, Monday–Friday, long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• MIG, TIG and Pulse welding experience highly regarded.
• Experience setting up brake press tools and dies.
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and SOPs.
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate premium vehicle protection products including bull bars, wings, side rails, rear bars, underbody vehicle protection and other components
• Perform MIG, TIG and Pulse welding
• Complete grinding and finishing of fabricated components
• Read and understand Engineering Drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Carry out general fabrication, assembly and manufacturing duties
