Peter Warren Automotive Holdings Ltd. invites skilled Diagnostic Technicians to join our Toyota-focused team within a multi-franchise dealership network. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults, work with a supportive workshop and collaborate with service advisors to deliver quality results.

We value accurate diagnostics, adherence to manufacturer standards, and a commitment to safety. Toyota experience is highly regarded, with exposure to other brands a plus.

Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification is required.
• Proven experience as an Automotive or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
• Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to interpret technical information and manufacturer specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work in a fast-paced workshop.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Toyota experience will be highly regarded, with exposure to other brands an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose complex faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct inspections and accurately identify required repairs.
• Complete diagnostic reports, job cards and technical documentation.
• Test and verify repairs to ensure faults are fully resolved.
• Provide technical support and guidance to fellow Technicians where required.
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and workshop safety.
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and Workshop Management.
• Keep up to date with evolving vehicle technology, diagnostic systems and repair methods.
