Job summary

Austchrome, based in Mackay's industrial precinct, is seeking a Machinist to manufacture and reclaim hydraulic components using both manual and CNC lathes and grinders. You will read CAD drawings, perform precision checks, and work with a skilled trades team to meet exacting specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and reclaim hydraulic components using manual and CNC lathes and borers.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications to produce jobs.
• Perform in-process quality checks with micrometers and precision tools.
• Collaborate with trades across machining, fabrication, fitting and plating.
• Maintain a safe workspace and follow all policies and procedures.
