Qualifications

• Qualifications in science via TAFE or university.
• Experience in high-throughput, client-focused lab environment preferred.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management essential.
• Willingness to work public holidays and weekend shifts.
• Cross-training across lab sections may be required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of soil, water, and sediment – weighing, digesting, titrating, or solvent extraction of samples.
• Ensuring that preparation and analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions
• Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies
• Completing all tasks within both the timeframe set by the Supervisor and the relevant analysis standard
• Highlighting anomalies in results and sample type/behaviour
