Job summary

Origin Earth Sauce is seeking a proactive Packing Worker to assemble, check, and package finished goods for sale at our Somersby site. You will support packaging and warehouse teams, maintain accuracy and cleanliness, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in packing or warehouse roles, know food handling practices, and hold or aim to obtain a forklift licence. This in-person position offers stable hours and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in packing or warehouse roles.
• Knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices is advantageous.
• Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety procedures is desirable.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product components into finished goods for sale.
• Check packaging components meet quality and specs.
• Verify all printed information on labels for accuracy.
• Assist warehouse staff with general duties as required.
• Provide cross-department support to maintain operations.
• Record wastage accurately and report it as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and packaging teams.
