Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd in Adelaide seeks experienced Precast Shift Managers to lead the safe, efficient operation of precast facilities supporting the Torrens to Darlington Alliance. You will oversee shift production, quality, safety, and industrial relations, coordinating with production, engineering, and project teams to meet targets.

You will manage road deck elements and tunnel segments, promote a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across plant performance and workforce

Qualifications

• Significant precast manufacturing experience, especially tunnel segments or road decks.
• Proven leadership of large production teams across multiple shifts.
• Strong knowledge of precast processes, planning, control and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations across the precast facility, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
• Manage production targets, output, productivity, downtime and availability reporting.
• Oversee road deck elements and tunnel segments production per approved schedules.
• Lead safety and compliance, promoting a strong safety culture on site.
• Manage QC across the shift with quality teams to meet specs and project needs.
• Act as Industrial Relations interface, handling workforce matters with HR/leadership.
• Develop the workforce, ensuring skills/resources to meet production needs.
• Manage plant and equipment performance with maintenance teams.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
