Job summary

McCormick is seeking a pre-weigh operator to join our Moorabbin site. You will accurately weigh and measure raw materials, maintain proper storage, and document pre-weigh activities to support production schedules.

You will work closely with the Internal Logistics Manager and Advanced Storeperson, ensuring safety and GMP compliance while contributing to a clean, organized pre-weigh area and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to batch records and production order specifications.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
• Record and document all pre-weigh activities, including material usage and inventory levels.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pre-weigh area.
• Follow all safety & GMP guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Record operational checks of materials handling equipment and ensuring that necessary maintenance is completed.

About the Role

We are looking for a pre-weigh operator to join our team based in Moorabbin, reporting to the Internal Logistics Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process. This position involves accurately weighing and measuring raw materials, maintaining proper storage, and documenting all pre-weigh activities. You will work closely with our Advanced Storeperson and management to coordinate material supply and production schedules, all while adhering to safety and GMP guidelines.
