Job summary

FindStaff is seeking a reliable Prepress Operator to join our printing operation in Sydney during a technology upgrade phase. Reporting to the Production Team, you will prepare print-ready artwork and manage plate production in a fast-paced environment.

This temp assignment offers a Monday–Friday schedule with early start options and an opportunity to work with leading prepress software (ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis) while maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Prepress Operator or Platemaker role.
• Experience with ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis or AGFA/ECO3 systems.
• Strong understanding of artwork preparation, pre-flighting, imposition, and plate production.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Prepress Operator, Platemaker, or similar printing industry role
• Experience with ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis, AGFA/ECO3 systems, or similar prepress software
• Strong understanding of artwork preparation, pre-flighting, imposition, and plate production
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with manual handling requirements
