Job summary

FindStaff is seeking a Prepress Operator/Platemaker for a temporary assignment in Sydney, Australia. You will be responsible for preparing print-ready artwork, imposing with ESKO and CAD files, ripping files, and producing plates for the press room.

The role requires experience in prepress operations, familiarity with ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis or similar systems, and a strong eye for detail. You will work Monday to Friday with some flexibility in start times and support a technology upgrade phase.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Prepress Operator or Platemaker role.
• Experience with ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis, AGFA/ECO3 systems or similar prepress software.
• Strong understanding of artwork preparation, pre-flighting, imposition, and plate production.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with manual handling requirements.

About the Role

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Prepress Operator, Platemaker, or similar printing industry role
• Experience with ESKO, Apogee, Amfortis, AGFA/ECO3 systems, or similar prepress software
• Strong understanding of artwork preparation, pre-flighting, imposition, and plate production
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with manual handling requirements
