Job summary

Built in Perth is seeking a seasoned bid and pre-construction leader to drive end-to-end tendering from proposal through award. Based in our Perth Head Office, you will partner with estimating, design and delivery teams, and engage clients and consultants to shape winning opportunities.

You will bring strong commercial acumen, leadership, and a track record of securing major projects, with a focus on value engineering, pricing strategy, and robust risk management across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Construction or Engineering required.
• Experience in pre-construction or senior project leadership.
• Proven success in tendering and securing major projects.
• Strong construction methodologies and pricing understanding.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary bid teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tendering and pre-construction activities.
• Develop winning bid strategies with estimating teams.
• Engage with clients, consultants and stakeholders to secure opportunities.
• Identify risks early and implement smart construction methods.
• Contribute to commercial strategies including value engineering and negotiations.
• Ensure projects are commercially sound and aligned with Built's strengths.
