Job summary

Built in Perth is seeking a Senior Tender Lead to drive end-to-end tendering and pre-construction activities from our head office. You will partner with estimating, design and delivery teams, and engage clients and consultants to position opportunities for success.

You'll lead bid strategy, pricing refinement, and contract negotiations, while identifying risks and applying smart construction methodologies to strengthen project viability and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in pre-construction or senior project leadership.
• Track record of leading tenders and securing major projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, pricing strategies and contracts.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary bid teams and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tendering and pre-construction activities.
• Develop winning bid strategies with estimating teams to refine pricing and competitiveness.
• Engage directly with clients, consultants and stakeholders to build relationships and secure opportunities.
• Identify risks early and implement smart construction methodologies to strengthen viability.
• Contribute to commercial strategies, including value engineering and contract negotiations.
