Omni Recruit is seeking production operators for a major Southern Expressway contract. You will work in a precast concrete environment, operating basic hand and power tools, maintaining moulds, and assisting with production processes.

Ongoing work with potential permanency, Monday to Friday shifts, 5am start, with overtime opportunities. Ideal candidates have prior labour-intensive experience, the ability to read drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in labour-intensive roles.
• Experience in similar production positions is preferred.
• Must be available Monday to Friday with no restrictions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Confident using grinders and hand tools.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Clean and maintain moulds, tools and work areas.
• Assist with precast concrete production and mould preparation.
• Assemble and disassemble heavy concrete moulds.
• Insert steel reinforcement (rebar) and mesh into moulds.
• Patch, finish and clean concrete products.
• Follow WHS procedures and site instructions.

Location: Edinburgh North
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 5am - 1pm. 38h pw + overtime.
Type: Ongoing with potential for permanency
Pay: $35.93 p/h

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Use basic hand and power tools safely
• Clean and maintain moulds, tools and work areas
• Assist with precast concrete production and mould preparation
• Assembling and disassembling heavy concrete moulds
