Recovery Doesn't Start When Treatment Begins. And It Doesn't End When Treatment Finishes.
Some of the most important moments in a person's recovery journey happen before they enter treatment and after they return to the community.
As a Pre and Post Worker with Lives Lived Well, you'll play a critical role in helping people access treatment, prepare for recovery, strengthen support networks and build the foundations for lasting change.
Working across Wyla Residential Withdrawal and Rehabilitation Service and Elouera Residential Recovery Service, you'll support people at two of the most important stages of their recovery journey, helping them navigate the path into treatment and successfully transition back into the community.
If you're passionate about helping people create meaningful change in their lives and enjoy building strong therapeutic relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
Many AOD and mental health roles focus on one stage of a client's journey.
This role allows you to support people before treatment begins and continue supporting them as they transition back into the community.
You'll help assess treatment readiness, coordinate admissions, strengthen engagement, support recovery planning and reduce barriers that can prevent lasting recovery success.
This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and support people through some of the most significant milestones in their recovery journey.
Located in the Central West of New South Wales, Orange offers an enviable lifestyle, strong sense of community and excellent work-life balance.
Known for its great food, outdoor lifestyle, excellent schools and affordable living, Orange provides the benefits of a regional community without sacrificing access to quality services and amenities.
Wyla provides live-in withdrawal and rehabilitation support for adults experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges. Located on the Bloomfield Hospital Campus just outside Orange, Wyla helps people establish a strong foundation for recovery and prepares them for life beyond residential treatment.
Elouera supports women experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges through residential treatment and rehabilitation. The service provides a safe and supportive environment where women can engage in recovery while remaining connected with their children under 12 years of age.
Working across both services, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to achieving meaningful recovery outcomes for individuals and families.
You may come from alcohol and other drug services, mental health, community services, housing, justice, disability or another human services background.
Experience in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services is highly desirable. However, we are equally interested in professionals from related human services backgrounds who are passionate about supporting people to create meaningful and lasting change.
