Anglicare Victoria’s Orange Door team in Cranbourne is seeking a Practitioner to provide specialist services to perpetrators and families. The role is primarily phone/system-based, focusing on risk assessment, engagement and initial response within an integrated team.

The Orange Door Practitioners will work as part of an integrated team to provide specialist support to perpetrators, adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence and families who need extra support with the care of children. Anglicare Victoria staff will be responsible for the provision of services to Men/Perpetrators.
As a Practitioner you will support people with advice with a focus on risk assessment, engagement, and provision of an initial response and as a source of information to people referred to the Hub.
You will join the team at The Orange Door Cranbourne. This role will work as part of an integrated team to provide specialist services to Adults Using Violence referred to The Orange Door.
This is primarily a phone-based role or system based role, where your practice skills are applied through conversation, risk assessment, planning and consult. This position is to work in Adult Using Family Violence specialisation. At this stage it is based at Cranbourne but might be expected to work across South Metro Area of the Orange Door including Dandenong and Pakenham sites.
Bachelor’s Degrees, Graduate Certificates, and Master’s Degrees are required to work at The Orange Door. If you hold a Diploma, then you will need to complete further study and complete a higher level of education within the next 10 years.
