Job summary

Bupa is seeking a capable healthcare administration professional to support the Practice Manager at the Blacktown GP Super Clinic. The role focuses on leadership attributes, rostering, recruitment support, and financial oversight within a busy clinical setting.

You will lead the team in the Practice Manager's absence, drive KPI achievement, and contribute to change management, with a strong emphasis on patient experience and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar health care admin role.
• Familiarity with Best Practice software preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and active listening required.
• Able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Proactive, independent, and able to lead in manager's absence.

Responsibilities

• Work in Blacktown GP Super Clinic, 38 hours per week.
• Support and contribute to change management within practice.
• Support the Practice Manager with recruitment, rostering, team performance reviews, and financial oversight.
• Coach and develop your team to achieve KPI targets and practice goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the patient experience.
• Assist in facilitating regular team meetings and maintaining effective communication across the practice.
• Step up as Acting Practice Manager in their absence, taking full ownership of rostering, staff performance, financial monitoring, timesheet approvals, and order processing when required.
