Job summary

Narre Warren Clinic is seeking an Experienced Part Time Practice Nurse (RN or EN) to join our friendly team for two days per week (Thursday and Friday). You will report to the Nurse Manager and contribute to patient-centred care with a focus on wound care, immunisations, and chronic disease management.

Ideal candidates hold AHPRA registration, CPR/First Aid, WWCC, and GP experience; Nurse Immuniser is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (AHPRA) or enrolled nurse with current registration.
• CPR and First Aid certification, WWCC.
• Experience in General Practice preferred.
• Nurse immuniser qualification advantageous but not essential.
• Strong clinical and organisational abilities with a holistic patient approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centred care with excellent communication.
• Handle patient recalls and reminders.
• Provide wound care and assist with immunisations.
• Manage Chronic Disease Management Plans.
• Assist with iron infusions and minor procedures.
• Support with skin procedures and clinic activities.

Job description

Experienced Part Time Practice Nurse (RN or EN) required 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday).

Join our friendly and supportive team and help deliver professional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to and with the support of the Nurse Manager you will be a vital member of the team contributing to the smooth running of the Practice with key responsibilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care
• Patient recalls and reminders
• Wound care
• Immunisations (adult and childhood)
• Chronic Disease Management Plans
• Assisting with Iron Infusions
• Assisting with skin procedures and other minor procedures

About You

• CurrentAHPRA registrationas an RN
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification and Working with Children Check
• Previous experience inGeneral Practicerequired
• Nurse Immuniser (preferred but not essential)
• Strong clinical and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and holistic approach to patient care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Best Practice Software (desirable)
• Must have unrestricted Australian work rights
• Must be available Thursday and Friday
