Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Full-time Practice Nurse Manager for our Narellan clinic to provide leadership and operational management of a nursing team, ensuring top-quality patient care. You will partner with the Practice Manager to keep the Treatment Room efficient and to mentor clinical staff.

You will lead clinical operations, oversee health assessments, management plans, and reviews, while focusing on patient outcomes and a positive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Registered Nurses with prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• A passion for people and a personable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses.
• Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary.
• Coach, train, and mentor the team to deliver the best clinical outcomes.
• Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it is run efficiently with appropriate staff numbers.
• Assist the GP with health assessments, GP management plans and reviews.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to understand and manage the practice's financial levers.

The Role
We are looking for a Full-time Practice Nurse Manager to join our Narellan practice to provide leadership and operational management to a team of Nurses, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. In this role you will work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain efficiency of the Treatment Room while training and mentoring clinical staff.

Tasks

• Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses
• Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary
• Coach, train, and mentor the team, so that they can deliver the best clinical outcomes to all patients
• Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it is being run efficiently with appropriate staff numbers, following best practice procedures
• Assist the GP with conducting health assessments, GP management plans and reviews
• Work alongside the Practice Manager to understand the levers of profit and loss within the practice and manage their teams accordingly

Successful Candidate

• Proven Leadership and Management experience
• Registered Nurses with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• A passion for people and a personable approach
