Job summary

SunDoctors Skin Cancer Clinics in Capalaba, QLD, is seeking a friendly Full-Time Practice Nurse to support our busy clinic five days per week, delivering patient‑centered care in a collaborative team. You will assist doctors with skin cancer procedures, perform wound care, maintain infection control, and help prepare treatment rooms while supporting patient flow.

About the Role

Do you enjoy variety, teamwork, and making patients feel at ease? We are looking for a friendly and proactive Full-Time Practice Nurse to support our busy clinic in Capalaba, working 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, welcoming, and professional care to our patients
• Assist doctors with skin cancer procedures and excisions
• Perform wound care and suture removal
• Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilisation
• Educate patients on wound care and skin health
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep clinical areas well‑stocked
• Support patient flow and day‑to‑day clinic operations

What We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (GP or skin cancer experience highly regarded)
• Experience with Best Practice software (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient focused with a warm, professional and customer service oriented approach
• Sound computer skills and confidence using multiple systems
