We are seeking a highly motivated and GP EXPERIENCED Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our busy team at the New Farm Medical Centre Pty Ltd in New Farm, Queensland. This is a casual Practice Nurse position offering 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional shifts as required. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to progress to a permanent position in the future. You will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring, Care Plans and CMAs
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by our medical practitioners
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Assisting in minor procedures and infusions.
• Managing treatment room with the team of nurses supported by the clinical nurse lead.
• Undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance your nursing skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Current registration as Registered or Enrolled nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a general practice (preferred)
• Aged care experience in completing comprehensive medical assessment (advantageous)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to prioritise patient needs and provide high-quality care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in the use of medical software and technology to support patient care, Best Practice experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
