Job summary

Eyecentric in Manuka, ACT is seeking a Practice Manager / Optical Dispenser to lead daily operations and nurture patient relationships in an independently owned practice. The role blends clinical dispensing with hands‑on leadership and team support.

This position involves mentoring the team, ensuring a top-quality patient experience, stock management, and collaboration with our Optometrists to deliver exceptional care and personalised eyewear.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical dispensing and a patient-focused approach.
• Proven leadership experience or readiness for first leadership role.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive problem-solving.
• Confident communication and ability to build genuine relationships.
• Leads by example and supports others to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the practice while supporting the team.
• Provide premium optical dispensing and personalised frame styling.
• Coordinate workflow to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Manage stock presentation, merchandising and frame selection.
• Support business improvements and contribute ideas for practice growth.
• Work closely with Optometrists to deliver outstanding patient care.
