Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking a Practice Manager for a 4-chair modern clinic in Brisbane. You will lead the Practice Team and ensure smooth operation in collaboration with the Practice Development Manager and Practice Principal.

Key requirements include business and people management experience, strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage income and costs. This permanent full-time role is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, in a conveniently located practice near public transport.

The purpose of this job is…

The Practice Manager will lead the Practice Team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice operation in collaboration with Practice Development Manager and Practice Principal.

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Business and people management experience is desirable but not essential.
• Proven in organisational, administrative, and time-management skills
• Exceptional in communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities, with strong business acumen
• Knowledgeable in generating income and controlling costs
• Confident in handling difficult conversations and resolving issues promptly
• Comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
• Experienced in understanding and managing the practice P&L
