Datacom is seeking a Practice Manager - Automation and Operations in Canberra to lead the transformation of our Reliability Operations Hub into an automation-first, AI-enabled platform engineering and SRE capability.

You will drive automation initiatives, embed observability, and grow capability across regions while collaborating with Product and Commercial teams to deliver scalable customer-facing services.

Qualifications

Strong experience in SRE, Platform Engineering and Automation.
Experience in large-scale Technology Operations.
Leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the transformation of the Reliability Operations Hub (ROH) to an automation-first, AI-enabled platform.
Embed SRE practices, observability, and preventative engineering across regions.
Turn manual toil into scalable automation and self-service capabilities.
