Publicis Groupe ANZ is hiring a Public Relations Manager to lead the Australian PR agenda for Publicis Sapient, focusing on AI, digital transformation and customer experience. The role elevates profile, shapes market conversations, and relies on strong journalist relationships and strong storytelling.

You'll work with senior leaders to identify compelling narratives and translate complex topics into accessible stories for Australia’s business and technology media.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in PR, corporate communications, media relations or journalism.
• Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and what makes a story timely and newsworthy.
• Established relationships across Australian technology, business, trade or industry media.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and preparing executives for media engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Publicis Sapient's Australian PR strategy.
• Build an editorial engine linking market opportunities, campaigns, and goals.
• Lead local social media strategy, content planning and channel performance.
• Partner with leaders and experts to create narratives across AI and digital transformation.
• Build strong journalist relationships and drive executive profiling opportunities.
• Create media materials, bylines, opinion pieces and executive communications.
• Localise global campaigns for Australian audiences.
• Measure impact through media coverage and brand outcomes.
