Job summary

Archetype Consulting in Sydney is seeking a PR Account Manager to deliver high-quality communications programmes for ambitious B2B technology, AI and corporate clients across Australia and APAC. You will own accounts, work with senior counsel and grow your career in a globally connected agency.

You will manage day-to-day client work, lead campaigns end-to-end, and guide junior colleagues while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in public relations, communications or a related agency environment.
• Experience managing client accounts from planning through to delivery.
• Strong writing, editing and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
• Experience delivering integrated campaigns across earned media, content and social channels.
• Ability to work independently on smaller accounts, with support from a senior consultant.
• Strong organisation and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience working with B2B technology, AI, corporate or business-focused clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of accounts and act as a trusted point of contact for clients.
• Lead integrated campaigns from planning through to delivery across media, content and social.
• Provide clear recommendations aligned to each client’s goals and priorities.
• Develop strong story angles and identify relevant news, media and influencer opportunities.
• Manage campaign timelines, budgets, deliverables and internal workflows to keep programmes on track.
• Build positive working relationships with clients, journalists, influencers and colleagues across the Archetype network.
• Guide and support junior team members, helping them deliver strong work and build their confidence.
• Track programme performance, prepare clear reporting and turn results into practical recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, expand existing programmes and support new business activity.
