Job summary

Herd MSL, part of Publicis Groupe ANZ, is seeking a curious, proactive Account Executive to work across a portfolio of iconic brands in consumer PR. This hands-on role supports press office, media pitching, campaigns, events and influencer activity, and thrives when storytelling lands in the media.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in PR, comms, media, marketing or similar (agency, in-house or internships).
• Strong interest in consumer PR and storytelling.
• Confidence pitching to media.
• Great writing and attention to detail.
• Organised, collaborative and proactive.
• Curious, eager to learn and open to feedback.
• Bonus: social, influencer or content experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor news and culture to spot opportunities for clients.
• Draft media materials (press releases, alerts, story angles).
• Pitch to journalists and build media relationships.
• Support campaigns, events, influencer and project work.
• Manage day-to-day account tasks (WIPs, reporting, tracking).
• Contribute ideas across press office and creative campaigns.
• Collaborate with senior team members across multiple accounts.
